Vincent H. Davis, D.D.S.
Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1989. From 1990-1993 he served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and was a clinical associate/oral medicine resident at the National Institute of Dental Research. He has been in general dentistry for over 17 years and in the last 15 has developed a strong interest in helping TMD and sleep disordered patients through conservative, non-surgical methods.

He has completed hundreds of hours of intense, special courses to acquire the training necessary to properly diagnose and treat these disorders. These post graduate studies have included mini-residencies and seminars by world-renowned instructors in the fields of TMD, Sleep and Orthodontics.
Our special equipment which provides us more accurate diagnoses and treatment include:
- Electromyography (records jaw function in functional and relaxed states)
- Joint Vibration Analysis (to detect jaw joint sounds)
- Pharyngometer & Rhinometer (to measure airway in snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea)
Part of managing these disorders sometimes encompass a multidisciplinary approach with appropriate referrals to physicians, chiropractors, therapists, naturopaths, psychiatrists and others. Sometimes the proper treatment methods involve "teamwork" with other healthcare professionals.
Our office offers you a full range of services. We have been treating general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry for 17 years. Dr. Davis has acquired a special interest in temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ) and Snoring / Sleep apnea, which has led him to undergo intense continuing education in these areas. He is well qualified to diagnose and treat TMJ and sleep disorders!
